About Us
Dogs have been part of my life since I could walk. Over the years I have been owned by many and I love being out in the fresh air, no matter what the weather has in store for us.
Dog walking in the local area, seeing and experiencing the countryside and allowing them to explore and have fun, doing what dogs like to do with happy paws.
I have lived in Hurst since 2007 with my husband and our pets, currently 4 rescue dogs and 7 ex battery chickens. Owning the dogs has given me a great interest in canine behaviour and fitness. I have attended many training courses to learn canine conditioning to maintain their fitness and keep them healthy. This has been very important as I also take part in agility with one of my collies, fitness is so essential to prevent any major injuries in the sport.
I also enjoy doing Mantrailing with my other collie, he’s got a great nose on him! My older collie is good at Parkour, although she is getting a little elderly now she still enjoys it, balancing on tree stumps and twisting around tree trunks and having a good explore.
With all this experience I have gained over the years its made me appreciate that dogs need variety, whether its a case of having a good runaround to burn off some energy or to have some time to use some mental stimulation with their noses. I love to do search games during my walks so they have to use those brain cells and noses to find something tasty.
Since starting my business, my hubby Roy has helped me build it to the position it is today. He has plenty of doggy experience from looking after our own dogs and volunteering at a local dog rescue. He has now become my working partner so we can give the dogs even more individual attention when they are out in small groups or individual walks. We now run two vehicles so it allows us to give more flexibility to our clients and their pooches.
We can guarantee we would give your dogs our full attention, hence the reason why we do not walk more than 4 at a time, unless they are from the same household. They would be treated like one of my own.
We are fully insured, hold an up to date Canine First Aid Certificate and am also fully DBS Checked.
We also wear Body Cameras and use Dog Trackers when necessary
